Outfit Post: By Merryn Erica Funnel
When I saw a sneak peek of the Erica sweater on Merryn’s Instagram this summer, I immediately knew I would love this sweater. I love turtlenecks and funnel necks, I love By Merryn’s cashmere, and we all know I love sweaters. When Merryn released her new line, I reached out to her to see if I could review one of her new sweaters. I am beyond thrilled with this one!
The sweater is beautifully fashioned, with exquisite details like the rolled hem on the cuffs that were once standard and now are increasingly hard to find (unless you’re spending thousands of dollars.) The cashmere is thick and plush, with a wonderful weight and heft to it. I love the proportions of the sweater–the raglan sleeves means that it fits any body type well, and the fit is just the right amount of boxy without being unflattering. The funnel neck is a great height; not too high and not too short. The length is perfect, hitting me just below my hips. The sleeve length is just right for me. I am wearing the small and found this true to size; I usually wear a zero. The small could easily fit up to a size 4.
I highly recommend the Erica (and all of Merryn’s sweaters–you can read my review of Lotte here)–and Merryn has generously offered 20% off her sweaters with the code SARAH20.

I was provided with the Erica sweater in exchange for an Instagram post. I was so delighted with it that I offered to write a blog post as well! As always, you can rely on me for an honest and thoughtful review. Thank you, Merryn!

I don’t need another sweater – but I have been absolutely coveting this one! Thank you for the thorough review. The discount code makes it very hard not to order…
You know I do *not* need another sweater either, but I absolutely needed this one! It’s so good. Let me know if you do order—I think you should! 🙂
