What’s In My Summer Bag?
Something I loved about early 2010s blogging was how personal it was. The “what’s in my bag?” posts epitomized that personal touch. What’s more personal than sharing what you carry every day? I used to get great ideas from bloggers like The College Prepster and Design Darling with items for my daily life.
Today, I wanted to share what’s in my summer bag. I actually carry two bags throughout the summer–a boat & tote with a Bermuda bag inside. Here’s what’s in my summer bags…
Here’s what’s in my bag:
LL Bean Boat & Tote (size medium, long handles, zip top; my boat & tote guide here)
Bermuda bag (vintage from Triminghams, similar here)
Linen shawl from Avoca
Monogrammed handkerchief (a gift from my mother in advance of my wedding–my “something blue!”)
Moleskine notebook with Lamy fountain pen tucked inside
Krewe sunglasses (old, similar style here)
Mini Altoids
Not pictured: cash, credit card, and driver’s license. I travel light in the summer!
