The Easter Edit

As I wrote in Friday’s edition of The Staple, Easter has always been a memorable holiday for me. Today, I’m sharing everything else you might need for Easter: a special outfit that will take you into spring, fun yet nice goodies for Easter baskets, and how to set your table.

While this is specifically the Easter edit, all these recommendations can be used for general spring celebrations, or just an everyday spring dinner! Don’t save the special things: the best time to use your cherished pieces is now.

The Easter Basket Edit

I love to choose hands-on activities for my little one; open-ended play was a huge part of my Montessori upbringing, and I try to bring some of that into our home life. You can view my favorite Easter baskets and what I’m filling ours with here.

The Easter Outfit Edit

I tend towards the traditional for Easter outfits; in New York, when it can be below freezing, it feels a little silly to stand shivering in the cold for an Easter egg hunt! However, I have loved Easter celebrations in warmer climates, particularly Bermuda. Here is my Easter outfit edit for you, Easter selections for children, and Easter selections for men.

The Easter Tablescape Edit

As I wrote in Friday’s post, setting the table for Easter is one of my favorite things to do, and one of the most memorable experiences from my childhood. My full Easter tablescape edit can be found here. Most of these pieces will take you well into spring for a selection that will brighten your table in the days to come.

I hope you have a wonderful holiday, if you’re celebrating; if not, happy spring!
