Home, Living a Beautiful Life

Home Inspiration from Elsie de Wolfe

I’m currently in an Elsie de Wolfe mood after finally taking a peek inside the beautifully-designed tea house at Planting Fields. My favorite pieces in the tea house were the beautiful tole flowers. Toleware has definitely had a resurgance in recent years–partially due to the grandmillennial trend–but it’s something I’ve always loved. We had a great deal of toleware in my childhood homes and in my grandparents’ houses. They are elegant, unique, and very beautiful! I’ve pulled together some toleware flowers for you below–some vintage, some antique, and some new–in a variety of price points. If these don’t strike your fancy, Thrills of the Hunt also has an amazing collection for sale!

  1. Oh you know I love tole! I have three pairs of tole sconces available in my Chairish shop. However, I may need to keep a pair for my dining room. Love this post – thank you for shedding light on this fabulous timeless design!
