Christmas Gift Guide: For the Discerning Woman

I feel as though many gift guides you see around the holidays fall into the same categories and use the same gifts. I’m making an attempt to post different things than you might generally see, and I hope you find these useful! This is a gift guide for the hard-to-buy-for woman. Maybe she has it all; maybe she has particular tastes–in any case, I hope this guide provides some worthy suggestions!

(A note: all my gift guides are free of affiliate links and only list gifts I’ve given, received, or plan to give (and hope to receive!) I hope you find these guides useful–please leave me a comment and let me know!)

Enamel boxes, various pricing, Halcyon Days via Scully & Scully: I love these little enamel boxes–my grandmother had a large collection, and my first Christmas gift from my husband was one of these! There are so many to choose from, and it’s a lovely way to mark a special holiday.

Bespoke stationery, from $405, Dempsey & Carroll: Dempsey & Carroll has lovely, timeless stationery, and who doesn’t need more, especially around the holidays? It’s an elegant and thoughtful way to thank gift-givers, and let others know you are thinking of them. Bespoke correspondence cards begin at $405, which is very reasonable for engraved stationery (though it is an investment!) For more modest budgets, consider the “Basic Dempsey” collection, with 10 correspondence cards for $15, and 10 envelopes for $15.

A custom ornament, $32, All the Finery: What a special (and affordable!) way to commemorate a special place or moment. I’m planning on ordering several this year.

Waterproof picnic blanket, $165, Modern Equestrian Shop: I had a great picnic blanket similar to this, but it’s somewhere that can’t quite be located right now! This is super-practical, whether for picnicking on the Great Lawn or, if you’re a mom, for everyday use with your child. I love the look of this, and how it’s much nicer than many of the other “mom” blankets I see at storytime. I’m planning on picking one up for me this Christmas!

Jewelry round, from $80, Leontine Linens: Have you wanted to invest in a Leontine Linens product but just couldn’t bite the bullet? (Yes!) I love these jewelry rounds–super practical for traveling, but equally lovely to sit out on your bedside table. Plus it is completely up to you to choose colors and monogram style, which makes the gift extra special.
