Outfit Post: Molly Moorkamp Louise Shift

We recently attended a benefit for the local Boys & Girls Club and I was so glad to have the opportunity to wear this gorgeous Molly Moorkamp Louise shift! As you all know, I’m a big fan of the shift dress in the summer, and Molly Moorkamp‘s shifts are the single best contemporary option I’ve found.

The details: The length is just above the knee–not too long, not too short (like most shifts). The dress is fully lined, providing excellent coverage and structure. The cotton faille is certainly more formal than old-school Lilly Pulitzer, which is great–it’s a versatile dress that would work for any special occasion. I can’t wait to purchase the dress in another print!

Sizing: I wear a 0 (my true size) in the more fitted Molly Moorkamp dress I own. For this, I found the 0 to be comfortably roomy. I may have my tailor take it in slightly, but it looks great without additional tailoring! Definitely do not size up.
