Coffee Talk

Spring has sprung… and promptly disappeared. I feel like I’m hibernating again! Anyway, I’d love to catch up with you as we start April–please join me for a quick but hopefully fun virtual coffee! 🙂

What’s on your calendar this month?

We have our spring reception for work tomorrow and I can’t wait–it’s been a lot of work but it’s going to be wonderful! I’m hopeful we will see friends for Easter, too.

Are you playing Wordle?

I am and I got my first 1/6 this week–a thrilling moment! I also enjoy dusting off my musical knowledge with Byrdle.

What’s on your shopping list?

I plan on sharing mine next week. Suffice to say, for now, that I’m ready for warmer days ahead!

If you celebrate Easter, what are your traditions?

We always have cinnamon rolls in the morning–and I’m looking forward to starting new traditions, too, beginning with setting a beautiful table!

  1. Happy April! It snowed here this morning, so I’m hibernating again, too.
On my calendar – we’re hosting a small Masters watch party, seeing my parents for Easter, and my father is turning 75 at the end of the month
I haven’t tried Worlde yet. I clicked the link to Byrdle and it looks like fun!
My shopping list – I did some pretty severe pruning on my wardrobe while spring cleaning, so am planning to replace core items – striped tees, tennis sweater, some spring/summer dresses for everyday. I’m also doing a complete overhaul on the gardens this year, so a lot of plants and outdoor gear on my list as well.
Easter traditions – We hide eggs for our daughter, plus give her an Easter basket. I’m looking forward to attending the Easter Sunday service for the first time since the pandemic started, that’s a tradition I’ve missed. We also do a brunch with mimosas!

    1. How fun, Sara! I hope your dad has a great 75th!

I definitely recommend Saint James for striped tees. They truly last forever.

I am hoping we’ll be attending the egg hunt at our yacht club this year–something I remember fondly from growing up, and I can’t wait to share with my child!
