Fewer & Better is a maximalist’s attempt to live a more edited life–think Nancy Meyers meets Marie Kondo. I write about the sentiment behind clothes, the importance of the personal touch, and the joy of knowing that what you own is also what you love. In focusing on quality over quantity, and well-made forever pieces over consumerism, I have built a reputation for recommending the “fewer and better” pieces, instead of what’s easiest. Whether it’s stationery, a great sweater, or a pair of shoes that will last a lifetime, everything I recommend is tested and loved by me!
ABOUT ME
I am a native New Yorker who, after stints in Maryland, Colorado, Texas, Ireland, and Washington, D.C. (among others), returned in 2017. I currently live on the North Shore of Long Island with my husband and preschooler. In addition to writing my blog, I run a small Manhattan-based historical society. I love to read, write, and needlepoint.

I just came across your blog and instagram and have to tell you that this is exactly the type of blog and content that I’ve been missing! It reminds me so much of how blogging was back in the early 2010s before it became all about linking to items and encouraging readers to buy more.
